2026 five-star offensive lineman Gabriel Osenda left no doubt this week about his commitment to the Tennessee Vols.

Osenda, who has been committed to Tennessee since January, told the @cfbralb Instagram account that his recruitment is shut down.

Osenda, a native of Canada who is rated as the No. 4 offensive tackle in the nation, reposted the announcement on his Instagram story.

The announcement came the same day that Vols head coach Josh Heupel visited Osenda at The Baylor School in Chattanooga.

Gabriel Osenda wants to win a national championship at Tennessee

Osenda told On3 after he committed to Tennessee in January that he wants to win a national championship with the Volunteers.

“Tennessee was in the playoffs this season and they are only getting better,” said Osenda to On3. “Coach (Josh) Heupel and the staff have the team playing hard and playing together. I see a great opportunity to learn from the best, play with great players and to win a national championship. Tennessee is a national championship program and it has been a great run under Coach Heupel.”

Osenda, 6-foot-7/330 lbs, is rated by 247Sports as the No. 2 player in the state of Tennessee and the No. 19 overall player in the 2026 recruiting class.

The Tennessee coaching staff did a great job of evaluating and projecting Osenda. When Osenda committed to Tennessee, he was a three-star recruit who was rated as the No. 32 offensive tackle in the nation.

Osenda is the third-highest rated player in the Vols' 2026 recruiting class, behind five-star quarterback Faizon Brandon and five-star wide receiver Tristen Keys.
