2026 Quarterback Peyton Falzone Commits to Penn State Football

On Saturday, Nazareth Area Quarterback Peyton Falzone announced his commitment to Penn State Football.

Falzone marks Penn State‘s tenth 2026 pledge.

The in-state signal caller is Penn State’s second Quarterback commitment in the class of 2026. Falzone most reccently visited the Nittany Lions on March 27th for a spring practice.

head coach James Franklin and company are certainly happy to have Falzone on board.

The Nittany Lions beat out teams like Iowa and Utah to land Falzone’s talent.

What Does Falzone Bring to the Table?

Peyton Falzone is a tremendously athletic Quarterback.

He can run and throw with the best of them. Falzone helped lead his Nazareth Area High School team to a 7-3 season and will look to improve off of a successful junior year.

Falzone’s speed and running ability are there. He has great ability to pick up first downs with his legs, extend plays, and throw on the run. The one area he is working to improve, is his throwing motion. He is currently training with Quarterback Coach, Brad Maendler.

“I love working with him,” Falzone recently told NittayCentral of his time working with Maendler. “He’s changed my game so dramatically. From where I was just to start the new year [with Maendler]… From then on it’s just night and day. I’ve become so much more accurate as a passer, and I can also generate power without even having to try.”

Falzone also noted that Maendler has helped him become more rotational as a thrower.

Penn State is getting an extremely athletic Quarterback with all the tools to be successful at the collegiate level in Peyton Falzone.

Falzone Is Happy to be A Part of A 2 Quarterback Class

When I spoke with Peyton Falzone a few weeks ago, he made it clear that he was not afraid of being a part of a 2 Quarterback class. Obviously, that feeling has not changed.

“No, not at all,” Falzone said, when I asked if he would be opposed to being one half of a possible two Quarterback class in 2026. “I’ve never been afraid to compete and no matter where I go I’m gonna compete. Whether it’s one guy in the class, whether it’s two… You just gotta work your tail off and try to get better… I’ve never been one to shy away from that. I embrace it because I know it’s gonna make me a better player.”

Huhn and Falzone will be a great pair of Quarterbacks for the Nittany Lions in the class of 2026.
