In Week 7 of college football, there were a number of players who became big NFL Draft risers with standout performances. Here are four offensive NFL Draft risers who boosted their draft stock in Week 7.

Top Offensive NFL Draft Risers From Week 7

RB Desmond Reid, Pittsburgh

Desmond Reid is one of the most dynamic and versatile offensive players in college football. Reid is an undersized player and will need to improve his consistency as a runner, but he is an elite receiving running back and had one of the best games of his career in the Panthers road victory against Florida State. Reid had eight receptions for 155 receiving yards and two touchdowns, along with another 45 yards on the ground. Against Florida State, Reid did not just catch short passes out of the backfield, but also made multiple plays down the field as a receiver as well. Reid also showed his big-play ability with six 10-plus yard plays, three 20-plus yard plays, and a 50-yard reception in the game. Reid’s standout receiving ability, explosiveness, and potential return man value will help him stand out among potential Day 3 running back draft picks.

RB Demond Claiborne, Wake Forest

Demond Claiborne went for over 100 rushing yards for the third time this season in Week 7, and scored at least one touchdown for the fifth straight game this season. Against Oregon State, Claiborne had 144 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns on just 16 carries. Claiborne demonstrated his explosiveness with four 15-plus yard plays and a 66-yard touchdown run. He ranks in the top 5 for rushing touchdowns with eight, along with 539 rushing yards. Claiborne offers great acceleration and change of direction ability, and with his play so far this season, he is giving himself a chance to be one of the first running backs taken in the 2026 NFL Draft.

Indiana’s Elijah Sarratt (13) during the Indiana versus Illinois football game at Memorial Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 20, 2025

WR Elijah Sarratt, Indiana

Elijah Sarratt continued his incredible play this season in Week 7 against No. 3 Oregon on the road. Sarratt was once again Fernando Mendoza’s top target in a big top 10 matchup where he had a game-leading eight receptions, 121 receiving yards, and a go-ahead touchdown reception late in the fourth quarter. He consistently got open against a talented secondary, and not only showed up in the go-ahead touchdown drive late in the fourth quarter with a touchdown reception on 3rd & Goal, but also with a massive third-down conversion early in the drive, and a big 29-yard reception to get into the red zone.

Sarratt has had a remarkable season so far, ranking in the top 15 in both receptions and receiving yards, along with the second-most receiving touchdowns. His play this season has him in a position to potentially be taken in one of the first three rounds of the draft.

WR Ian Strong, Rutgers

Ian Strong continued his success this season with yet another 100-plus yard game. Against Washington, Strong had seven receptions for 124 yards, and he now ranks eleventh in receiving yards in all of college football with 537 yards, and in the top 20 for total receptions with 36. Strong highlighted his strong hands, ball tracking skills, and ability to make plays on all levels of the field in Week 7. With consistent production every week, Strong has been one of the top draft risers at the wide receiver position so far this season.
