4-star WR from Georgia Tyler Williams transfers to Gophers

The former Georgia Bulldog was a four-star recruit coming out of high school, ranked as the No. 68 recruit in the country in the Class of 2023 by recruiting service On3. The 6-foot-4 receiver redshirted his freshman year at Georgia.

Williams will slot into a receiver room alongside Daniel Jackson, the team's leading receiver in 2023, along with Elijah Spencer, Le'Meke Brockington, Kristen Hoskins and transfers Jaylen Varner and Cristian Driver. 

All of them will be catching passes from quarterback Max Brosmer, who transferred to Minnesota after leading the FCS in passing yards in 2023.
