Five-star offensive tackle Jackson Cantwell is keeping Georgia Bulldogs fans on edge after his recent unofficial visit to Athens.
On Sunday, Cantwell shared a photo on social media alongside newly committed Georgia quarterback Jared Curtis, captioning it, "JC x JC?"

This comes just a few days after Cantwell replied to a report that Curtis was attempting to recruit him with, "Hmm #GoDawgs?"

Standing at an imposing 6-foot-7 and weighing 300 pounds, Cantwell is a dominant offensive tackle from Missouri who currently holds the distinction of being the top-ranked player from the recruiting class of 2026, not only in his home state but also across the entire country.
Originally scheduled to announce his college commitment on April 30, Cantwell took to social media to inform fans and followers that he would be delaying his decision by nearly two weeks, setting a new announcement date for May 13.
While Cantwell keeps the recruiting world waiting, Curtis has made it clear he’s doing his part to help the Bulldogs land the elite lineman. Speaking candidly with reporters shortly after his own commitment, Curtis expressed his desire to see Cantwell join him in Athens and laid out exactly why he believes the standout tackle should suit up in red and black.
“Very big, gotta have somebody to protect me,” Curtis told DawgNation’s Jeff Sentell. “So I love Jackson, I’ve talked to Jackson a couple of times, and I’m excited to get to meet him and talk to him in person for the first time. So I’m excited.”
Georgia has been actively recruiting Cantwell for an extended period, and the possibility of both him and Curtis committing to the Bulldogs is far from far-fetched. With head coach Kirby Smart placing a strong emphasis on building a dominant class during this recruiting cycle, sources indicate that Georgia has been especially assertive in its approach, including being highly competitive with name, image, and likeness (NIL) opportunities.
This added focus on NIL has made the Bulldogs an even more attractive destination for elite prospects like Cantwell, fueling speculation that a package deal featuring the nation’s top offensive tackle and one of its top quarterbacks could very well become a reality in Athens
Right now, the Bulldogs have eight players committed to their recruiting class of 2026:
