Lane Kiffin and the Ole Miss Rebels football team got a massive win over the No. 3 Georgia Bulldogs, blowing them out at home 28-10 last weekend. It's a result that rocketed them into the thick of the College Football Playoff discussion and is also starting to have massive implications on the recruiting trail.

On Wednesday afternoon, it was announced that five-star wide receiver Caleb Cunningham, the No. 16 overall player in the 2025 class, flipped his commitment from the Alabama Crimson Tide to Ole Miss.

Cunningham is rated as the No. 2 wide receiver in the class and the No. 1 player in the state of Mississippi.

It’s hardly a surprising flip for Cunningham, who visited Oxford over the weekend during the Rebels' big victory. In the days following, multiple recruiting analysts from 247Sports and On3 logged predictions that the commitment was imminent.

Ole Miss now has the No. 16 ranked recruiting class in the 2025 cycle, headlined by Cunningham. They also have commitments from four-star running back Shekai Mills-Knight, four-star safety Ladarian Cardy, and four-star cornerback Cortez Thomas.

Last year, Kiffin also cleaned up in the transfer portal with some major commitments like former Texas A&M defensive lineman Walter Nolan and South Carolina wide receiver Antwane Wells Jr.

If Ole Miss can continue to carry this momentum on the recruiting trail going forward and put together another impressive portal class, we could see Kiffin near the top of the football world for several years to come as they continue to rise as one of the powers in the SEC.
