A much-anticipated announcement from Cederian Morgan is set to take place on Wednesday, July 2nd. He will announce his decision around noon CST.
Morgan has earned a five-star rating and the long offer list that comes along with it. The Benjamin Russell product officially visited multiple college football programs in June ahead of this important announcement.
Alabama, Auburn, Colorado, Georgia or Florida will now have the privilege of developing the talented wideout in the years to come.
The Crimson Tide have been recruiting Morgan for a little over a year. He earned an offer from Alabama at camp in May of 2024. Alabama football’s head coach Kalen DeBoer made it clear to Morgan he thought highly of him when extending the offer.
“He talked to me after the camp, and he was like I’m one of the best 2026 receivers he has seen,” Morgan told Touchdown Alabama after earning the offer. “For my class, he feels he can use me and build around me for the class of 26.”
It was also evident Morgan had a lot of interest in Alabam.
“It is a dream come true as an in-state kid,” Morgan said. “I always watched Alabama growing up, and all of my family members are big Alabama fans. Any time it was a big game, we were the type of family that got together and just watched Alabama. It’s just a dream come true.”
The Tide’s staff has continued their push for Morgan since then and have been able to get him on campus multiple times, including for an official visit in June. This effort has placed them squarely in the mix for the talented wideout.
At around 6-foot-4, Morgan is a dominant wide receiver at more than 200 pounds. He has an extremely wide catch radius with strong, dependable and consistent hands. Morgan seems to will himself open at the top of routes.
