A breakout defensive performance and two of Oregon's explosive playmakers lead the way in this week's stock up/stock down report

Oregon flew across the country and left no doubt - their 56-10 blowout of Rutgers was part statement, part reset button. After a disappointing loss at home the week before, the Ducks responded emphatically, piling up yards and points while smothering the Scarlet Knights from the opening whistle.

That kind of lopsided win isn’t just about the score - it’s a chance to see who’s trending up and who still has work to do. Which Oregon players boosted their stock in the dominant victory, and who came out of the game with questions to answer? Let’s break it down.

Stock Up

Kenyon SadiqTE

It’s funny putting Kenyon Sadiq in the stock-up column, as it’s hard for him to raise his stock any further, but here we are. Sadiq was coming off his quietest game of the season in the loss against Indiana, and he bounced back in a major way against Rutgers. He was featured early and often in the passing game and reminded people why he is widely considered one of, if not the best, tight ends in college football. He finished the game with four catches for 80 yards and two touchdowns.

Noah WhittingtonRB

Whittington started the year off strong and was the Ducks' leader in rushing throughout the first few games of the season. He then missed two games with injury but was able to return for the Penn State and Indiana games. He could not get going in those two contests, but returned to his explosive self against Rutgers. He ran for 125 yards and two touchdowns on just 11 carries. He proved he deserves to be one of the leading ball carriers for this offense.

Aaron FlowersS

While Brandon Finney Jr. has deservedly received a ton of shine this season, another freshman defensive back has also played very well. Flowers starts at safety for the Ducks and also sees some time at nickel. He made multiple big plays against Rutgers, including a forced fumble and an interception. He plays with excellent instincts and physicality.

Stock Down

Jayden LimarRB

This may be a bit unfair as Limar is out with an injury, but in his absence, he saw Oregon rush for a near program record of 415 yards. Whittington and the true freshman duo of Jordon Davison and Dierre Hill Jr. were terrific on Saturday and proved they are the most dynamic and talented backs on the roster. While Limar certainly does some things well, it's clear he doesn’t have the upside as those three ball carries, and it's fair to wonder if he should have a role in this offense moving forward whenever he does return from his injury.
