Already this week, the Oregon Ducks have had enough negative movement to feel as though they could hit a reset button. They watched both five-star pass-rusher Richard Wesley announce a bizarre visit schedule and then later decommit from Oregon, then saw Alai Kalaniuvalu flip from Oregon to BYU for the second time.
However, Dan Lanning and his program are far from throwing in the towel. They're still in the mix for elite linebacker Kenneth Goodwin, and five-star safety Jett Washington gave the Ducks some positive news.
Earlier this week, Washington added two official visits to his schedule, with USC and Ohio State making the cut. But the important part is that Oregon remained Washington's last trip.

The gigantic 6-foot-4, 200-pound safety from Las Vegas is slightly favored to land in Oregon by On3's recruitment predictor machine. Some of his comments tend to show Oregon should have a very real chance of winning the race, since he's blending the value of an NIL offer with relationships.
“Relationships are very important, then seeing where I fit in their defense, what their plan for me is and the culture at each school are the biggest things for me,” Washington told On3. “I want to play in a winning culture. The NIL is part of it too. You have to take it for what it is now, it is part of the process and I am looking at that too.”
“My last visit to Oregon was great. It is a great program and they are recruiting me as hard as anyone. Coach Hampton is a great coach, Coach Lanning has the program going up and I liked it a lot when I was up there."
He'll be on campus from June 13-15, and it may not take Washington much longer to announce his destination.
