Mack Sutter is set to announce a commitment decision on Thursday. He will announce his decision at 7:45 p.m. CST.

Sutter is a 2026 four-star athlete out of Dunlap High School in Illinois. He currently garners a four-star rating from multiple recruiting sites, and he is currently considering Alabama, Illinois, Ole Miss and Ohio State.

The Crimson Tide have been recruiting the Illinois product for more than a year.

Alabama offered him in April of 2024 during a visit, and it set a tone in his recruitment. It was clear from that moment Alabama was going to play a major role in his recruitment.

“Alabama will always be special to me because they are one of the few schools to offer me in-person,” Sutter told Touchdown Alabama.

The visit also included a detailed breakdown of the way the Tide plans to use their tight ends in the future and how Sutter would fit into those plans.

“It was an awesome time getting to speak with them for a long time on how they use their tight ends,” Sutter said.

Sutter stands at 6-foot-6 and weighs 232 pounds, and he does it all for Dunlap. He takes snaps at quarterback, wide receiver and while lined up on the edge on defense. He flashes impressive athleticism wherever he lines up and produces.

As a tight end, he has great mobility for a guy his size. He can be physical which shows when he is calling upon the block. His ability to be a receiving tight end would makes him a great fit for what Kalen DeBoer and his staff wants to do with the tight end position.
