Alabama 5-Star WR target announces commitment date

Kaliq Lockett has locked in a commitment date for Aug. 7.

Lockett is a product of Sachse High School in Texas, and he is a five-star wide receiver prospect. He will choose between Alabama, Florida State, LSU, Texas and Texas A&M. 

The Crimson Tide hosted Lockett earlier this month for an official visit. He shared he enjoyed the ‘good vibes’ with Alabama and Kalen DeBoer during his visit. Texas was the last school to host him for an official visit. 

The 6-foot-1, 175-pounder thrives in contested-catching situations with his ability to go up and get the football and display great ball skills and concentration. He also flashes the ability to be a deceptive route runner and make plays after the catch.
