The college football season is inching closer and closer. One of the things that should indicate to fans that the offseason is nearing its end is the beginning of media days for the various conferences. The SEC media days are scheduled to be held on July 14-17. Each team will have representatives available for media members to interview, including the Alabama Crimson Tide.
On Tuesday, it was announced which players on the Crimson Tide will attend the SEC media days as representatives. This year , it will be Tim Keenan III, Deontae Lawson and Kadyn Proctor. Kalen DeBoer and the coaching staff will also be available.
The Alabama Crimson Tide players and coaching staff are expected to answer questions regarding the upcoming season and how they can improve on last year. The Crimson Tide are entering their second season with head coach Kalen DeBoer at the helm following Nick Saban's retirement. While it was not a disastrous season, it was a disappointment.
The Crimson Tide did not qualify for the college football playoff despite the expansion to the 12-team playoff format. It was also the team's first season with less than 10 wins since Saban's first season in 2007. Fans will be waiting eagerly to hear what the Crimson Tide players and staff have to say about the coming season.
