Alabama Crimson Tide cornerback Eli Ricks was arrested in Mississippi on Sunday evening and booked on charges of "speeding, driving without insurance, and possession of marijuana," ESPN and other outlets confirmed Monday morning.
According to the Clarion Ledger, Ricks was booked by the Jones Country Sheriff's Department at 5:14 p.m. on Sunday and was still being held in country jail on Monday morning. He was released on $0 bond, the department's inmate roster revealed.

As of Monday morning, Alabama's athletic department had not released a statement addressing Ricks' arrest.
Ricks, 20, transferred to Alabama from LSU this offseason not long after the Tigers fired head coach Ed Orgeron. While at LSU, the California native earned AP All-America (Third Team) and SEC All-Freshman honors during his freshman season after he tallied four interceptions and 113 return yards.
Ricks' sophomore campaign was cut short due to shoulder surgery, but he is expected to compete for a starting role at Alabama this season.
