Alabama football beats out professional sports teams as users favorite team in ESPN poll

Alabama football is considered to be one of the most popular sports teams in the world in 2025, according to ESPN.

The Crimson Tide find themselves being polled by Sports Center as the 16th most favored team by fans in a recent poll taken across all 50 states within the United States. Alabama football’s placement edges out ionic professional sports franchises around the sports world such as the 6-time NBA Champion Chicago Bulls, reigning MLB World Champion Los Angeles Dodgers, Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles and France soccer’s defending UEFA Champions League winner Paris-Saint German.

This popularity is driven by notable past and present Crimson Tide stars like Nick Saban, Jalen Hurts, Derrick Henry, Mark Ingram, Julio Jones, Amari Cooper, DeVonta Smith, Tua Tagovalioa, Bryce Young and now sophomore superstar wide receiver Ryan Williams.
