Alabama football’s initial availability report for the Rose Bowl shows the Crimson Tide has gotten healthier.
The only players listed as out for the Tide’s upcoming matchup against Indiana are Jah-Marien Latham, Dre Kirkpatrick Jr. and Jeremiah Beaman. Latham and Beaman suffered season-ending injuries earlier in the season. Kirkpatrick Jr. remains out after being indefinitely suspended.
Alabama running back, Kevin Riley and the Tide’s defensive end, LT Overton are no longer listed as out.
Kane Wommack recently discussed the impact of having Overton back on the Alabama defense.
“I mean, he’s an ultimate competitor,” Wommack said. “He’s done a really good job of staying in shape, which was one of the things that we wanted to make sure that if the opportunity was to come back, that he would be in great shape, and he looks great right now. So very excited for him. Very excited for us and when you have a difference maker like that off the edge, it certainly changes your defense.”
