Alabama football upgrades status of Jam Miller ahead of Tennessee

Alabama football has upgraded Jam Miller to probable after he was listed as questionable on Wednesday.

The Crimson Tide also upgraded wide receiver, Jaylen Mbakwe, while tight end, Danny Lewis has been downgraded to questionable.

Miller suffered a concussion against Missouri. Kalen DeBoer shared the Tide would take an optimistic approach to Miller possibly returning to the field this weekend.

“ Jam’s continued to move along here throughout the week,” DeBoer said. “Everyone knows it is the protocol, and you got to meet those certain steps along the way throughout the week. That’s completely in the hands of our medical staff who do a great job. And so, you know, Jam’s making good progress. We’re not sure yet where that stands, but we’re going to think optimistically but also their steps again. It can go a lot of different directions. I’ve seen it happen different ways as the week goes on. But they’re out there doing what they can do, and with regard to where they’re at. We’ll see as the week goes on here.”
