Deion “Coach Prime” Sanders has two former Alabama assistant coaches at Colorado, and now he has a former Crimson Tide defensive lineman.

Anquin Barnes Jr., a defensive lineman, shared Sunday on social media that he has committed to the Buffalos.

He arrived in Alabama’s 2021 recruiting class from Robert E. Lee High School in Montgomery, Ala.

Barnes came as a four-star lineman and has two Southeastern Conference Championship rings. He was the second defensive lineman to enter the NCAA transfer portal and fifth name to enter with intentions of finding a new team.

Barnes is now part of the Colorado Buffalos with Charles Kelly and Sal Sunseri.
