Going into the 2025 season, the Alabama Crimson Tide's receiving corps might be the most impressive group on the team. The headliner is former five-star receiver Ryan Williams, who leads a group with Germie Bernard and Isaiah Horton.
It isn't just the returning players, though, as freshman Lotzeir Brooks also turns heads with fellow newcomer Derek Meadows drawing eyes.
Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer has a knack for finding and developing wide receivers, with Rome Odunze, Jalen McMillan, and Ja'Lynn Polk all the NFL after playing for DeBoer at Washington.
DeBoer is attempting to use that as a recruiting pitch for Florida native Somourian Wingo. The four-star receiver dropped his top five schools on Monday with the Crimson Tide joining Miami, Florida, LSU, and South Carolina in the hunt.
Wingo is ranked as the No. 157 player in the country and No. 23 wide receiver in the 2026 recruiting class according to On3. The 6-foot-3 180 180-pound pass catcher snagged 65 passes for 1,040 and 12 touchdowns at St. Augustine High School.
In the On3 Team Industry Rankings, Alabama has the No. 7 recruiting class with five commits. One of those commits is five-star cornerback Jorden Edmonds.
According to On3's Steve Wiltfong, Alabama is predicted to land five-star wide receiver Cederian Morgan out of Alexander City, Alabama. The No. 2 wide receiver in the land is scheduled to take an official visit to Alabama on June 20. Morgan has his recruitment date set for July 2.
