Cederian Morgan stands at 6 feet 5 inches and weighs 210 lbs, which makes him one of the rare wide receiver recruits in this year’s class. The Benjamin Russell High School player has recently been predicted to land with his childhood team, the Alabama Crimson Tide.
On3 recruitment expert Andrew Bone sees Morgan committing to the Crimson Tide. The top 3 WR were on his official visit to the Alabama facility on Saturday and even had the chance to meet Nick Saban.
Earlier this year, the entire offensive coaching staff of the Crimson Tide visited his school, marking his first interaction with the team.
Growing up watching Alabama, he’s predicted to either sign with them or go over to the other SEC powerhouse in the state, the Auburn Tigers.
After his visit to Auburn, Morgan said, “They just made me feel like I was home. It would be a good place for me to be.”
During his time at Benjamin Russell, Morgan used his massive frame to outmuscle defenders, and last year he recorded 70 catches for 1,162 yards and 14 touchdowns. The WR is also adept at creating chances after the catch.
Throughout his high school career, he’s consistently made big plays using his elusive speed and uncanny balance for someone of his size. This attracted a lot of offers from premier college football programs.
The five-star target has trimmed his list down to Alabama, Auburn, the Florida Gators, Clemson Tigers, Colorado Buffaloes, and Georgia Bulldogs.
As seen in the past with NIL and the new look of the college football world, Colorado could become a surprise pick for the WR despite Alabama and Auburn being the frontrunners.
Coach Deion Sanders' effect cannot be underestimated. However, Kalen DeBoer and his staff cannot let this in-state talent go out of their hands. This would explain the entire offensive staff going down to his high school, or Nick Saban casually being there in the Alabama facility the weekend of his official visit.
Morgan makes his commitment decision on July 2, 2025.
