Alabama OL Tyler Booker highlights Jamil Burroughs, says Crimson Tide D-Line will ‘ball out’ this season

Alabama has players on the offensive and defensive lines that are mean enough to live up to the championship standard.

Eric Wolford, the Crimson Tide’s offensive line coach, has his group pushing the pile and wearing down opponents. Freddie Roach, Alabama’s defensive line coach, is prepared to restore the ‘hateful competitors’ to his unit. Both sides of the ball have battled in spring practice. Alabama fans are excited for Saturday’s A-Day game at Bryant-Denny Stadium as they look to see which players will captivate their attention. Tyler Booker, a sophomore offensive lineman, is looking forward to the Crimson Tide’s defensive line feasting on the opposition. Booker named Jamil Burroughs as someone to watch in the upcoming fall.

“I feel like Jamil Burroughs is one of the best pass rushers in the nation,” Booker said Tuesday. “I’m excited for him to go out and show it this year. Jamil is so quick, and he’s very smart as well. I am excited to see him and the rest of the D-Line ball out this year.”

Alabama is deep across its defensive line with multiple players that can execute at tackle and end. Justin Eboigbe is back for his fifth season, but names such as Burroughs, Tim Smith, Jaheim Oatis, Jah-Marien Latham, Damon Payne, Monkell Goodwine, and James Smith among others are ready to work. The Tide wants to stop the run and affect quarterbacks in the passing game.

Eboigbe stated in his presser that everything starts in the trenches.

Hopefully, Alabama can create more turnovers and provide dominance on the field.
