The Alabama Crimson Tide are searching for their second defensive lineman commitment from the 2026 class.

On Thursday, On3's Hayes Fawcett reported that Alabama was named a finalist for defensive lineman Nolan Wilson. His other finalists are the Auburn Tigers, Ole Miss Rebels, Miami Hurricanes and Florida Gators.

He attends Picayune Memorial in Picayune, Mississippi. Wilson is listed at 6-foot-4, 250 pounds.

If he commits to the Crimson Tide, he would be their commitment at the position, joining four-star defensive lineman Kamhariyan Johnson

Alabama went 9-4 in its first season under head coach Kalen DeBoer, ending the year with a 19-13 loss to the Michigan Wolverines.

Wilson is a four-star prospect and the No. 4 defensive lineman in the On3 Industry Rankings. He is also the No. 3 prospect from the state of Mississippi.

The On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine has Alabama in the lead, with a 29.5% chance of securing his commitment. The Crimson Tide is followed by Ole Miss (21.6%), the USC Trojans (18.5%), Auburn (12.4%), Florida (6.3%), and Miami (3.3%).

Alabama's 2026 class currently contains five-star cornerback Jorden Edmonds, four-star corner Zyan Gibson, four-star edge rusher Jamarion Matthews, four-star inside offensive lineman Chris Booker and Johnson.

The Crimson suffered a recruiting loss recently, losing four-star receiver Corey Barber to Ole Miss. However, Alabama was named a finalist for the No. 1 recruit in Ohio, four-star linebacker Cincere Johnson

DeBoer has made Wilson a priority throughout the recruiting process. Alabama has visited with the prospect three times, with an official visit coming up on May 30.

Wilson also has future official visits with Auburn (June 6), Ole Miss (June 13) and USC (June 20).

The second year of the DeBoer era kicks off against the Florida State Seminoles on August 30.
