A third player from Alabama football’s secondary is heading for the NFL Draft.
Jaylen Key, a transfer safety from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, chose the Crimson Tide as his transfer destination last summer to spend his final season of college football. Key, a native Floridian, totaled 60 tackles in 12 games and had 1.5 tackles for loss, a pass breakup, and an interception. He helped the Tide secure a Southeastern Conference Championship.
Key announced via Instagram he is declaring for the upcoming draft.

He joins Kool-Aid McKinstry and Terrion Arnold to leave the Tide’s defensive backfield for the pros.
