The Alabama Crimson Tide added to their 2026 recruiting class on Tuesday.
Three-star wide receiver Brian Williams Jr. told On3's Hayes Fawcett that he was committing to the Tide over the Penn State Nittany Lions, Florida Gators, and Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
God is good, Blitz Bama Blitz!!” Williams Jr. said.
Williams Jr. is the No. 104 recruit in Florida and the No. 118 wide receiver recruit in the country, per 247Sports composite rankings. He is also the No. 799 overall recruit in the country.
The Tide are now up to 16 recruits in their 2026 recruiting class and have the seventh-best class in the country, per 247Sports. They have two five-star and eight four-star recruits in the class.
Head coach Kalen DeBoer has been on a recruiting heater over the last couple of weeks and wants to keep it going. The 2025 season will be a big one for him after the Tide only won nine games during his first season in 2024.
They failed to make the College Football Playoff and want to change that when the 2025 season starts in August. They will open the year on the road against the Florida State Seminoles on August 30.
It will be an immediate test for the Tide, even though the Seminoles only won two games last season. Doak Campbell Stadium is one of the toughest places to play in the nation and also has one of the best atmospheres.
Kickoff will be at 3:30 p.m. ET.
