Albert asked the Tide wideout to describe Alabama’s 2024 season, and Bernard gave a short and blunt answer.
“A–,” Bernard said.
“We go a disgusting taste in our mouth…Don’t nobody ever want to feel like that again.”

The Nevada product went on to say the season left a bad taste in the mouth of the Tide.
“We got a disgusting taste in our mouth,” Bernard said. “Don’t nobody ever want to feel like that again. We just working. The team camaraderie is getting better.”
Bernard has an opportunity to set himself up for future success at the next level with a successful season in 2025. He is using the opportunity to grow on and off the field.
“But personally, I’m really just trying to work on being a leader, a vocalized leader and leading the right way and being consistent within being a leader,” said Bernard. “It’s a different role, and I’m ready to embrace that role. And I’ve been embracing it, and I’ve been trying to improve, trying to learn new things, how to be a leader. So, I watch different podcasts about different people. I like to watch the Pivot. That’s one of my favorites. Yeah. I just like to hear a little motivational stuff, a little inspirational stuff, so I can be able to feed it to other guys. And then another thing that I’ve been working on is trying to bring others along on the journey of faith. Doing what God put me here to do. I have a purpose here, and I’m just trying to understand my purpose and also just bring guys along.”
