On Monday, December 21st, Albany transfer Anton Juncaj received an offer from Oklahoma State. Juncaj played defensive end for the Great Danes and received first-team All-American honors at the FCS level. In his 2023 season, Juncaj totaled 46 tackles and 12 sacks, as well as five forced fumbles and two pass deflections.

It should be noted that the last defensive end to transfer from Albany to an FBS program is Florida State defensive end Jared Verse, who is currently projected to be a first-round draft pick.

Juncaj currently holds several Power Five offers, including teams like Oklahoma, Texas A&M, and Arkansas. He is a grad transfer with one year of eligibility remaining.

Juncaj currently stands in at 6-4, 263 pounds, and is from Port Jervis, New York. If the Pokes are able to land him, they will gain an every-down type of player, one that can both get after the quarterback and defend the run consistently. He would be an excellent stopgap for a year that can allow some of the younger players such as Jaedon Foreman and Luke Webb to develop.
