Georgia Bulldogs offensive tackle Amarius Mims missed most of the 2023 college football season after battling through a high-ankle sprain that required tightrope surgery in September.
He returned in Week 11 for the home finale against Ole Miss but re-aggravated his ankle injury during the Bulldogs' SEC Championship loss to Alabama in December.
Despite being limited to just seven games with six starts last fall, Mims still decided to forego his remaining eligibility and declared for the 2024 NFL Draft.
Many analysts believe that if he had returned for one last run with the Bulldogs, he would have been a no-question top-10 draft pick in 2025.
Now, Mims is currently a questionable Day 1 selection, though he may just put any doubts about him to rest by participating in the NFL Combine this week.
The 6-foot-7, 340-pound Georgia tackle was already expected to attend this year's Combine, but it was unclear as to whether or not he would actually be working out in front of the NFL evaluators.
According to ESPN's Jordan Reid, Mims is "fully healthy" and "plans to participate in all on-field testing and drills at the Combine."
