SMU vs. Boston College: The Eagles scored two fourth quarter touchdowns to get a 23-14 win over #24 Mustangs. In a battle of future ACC conference opponents, Boston College shredded the SMU rushing defense for 263 rushing yards at 6.8 yards per carry. Running back Kye Robichaux ran the ball 12 times for 87 yards and a touchdown. Quarterback Thomas Castellanos only threw for 102 yards on 11 of 18 passing, but he did a lot of damage running the ball. Castellanos had 155 yards and two fourth quarter touchdowns on 21 carries in the game. SMU's quarterback Kevin Jennings was 24-48 for 191 yards and a touchdown passing the ball, while also rushing for 51 yards.
