From drills and passing tips to handshakes with young fans, Arch Manning kept his word. The Texas quarterback made the trip to St. Louis to support teammate Ryan Wingo’s youth football camp. It wasn’t just a visit. It was a gesture of respect.
Manning said, “My main goal is to have fun. I want everything to be about the kids. Nothing about me, nothing about nobody else.” The camp took place at SLUH, Wingo’s old high school. Several Texas teammates showed up, including Colin Simmons, DeAndre Moore Jr., and Aaron Butler.

Manning explained that Wingo had invited him a couple of months ago. He accepted the offer without hesitation. This was his first time in St. Louis. His reason for coming was simple. “Ryan’s a great guy, obviously a great player, but a good teammate and just a good person.”
Wingo’s impact on the event was clear. Kids smiled widely, seeing top names in college football up close. “It put a smile on my face, and for them to have a smile on their face,” Wingo said. Seeing young fans meet players like Manning and Wingo made the event memorable.
The athletes ran drills, threw passes, and talked with campers. Manning added, “They’re all fast… catching the ball, doing all these little stuff that I used to do as well.” The visit was about more than football. It was about giving back.
