Arch Manning's NIL Valuation Skyrockets After Major Announcement

Texas Longhorns quarterback Arch Manning is undoubtedly one of, if not the biggest name in college football.

Despite being a backup quarterback for the past two years, Manning has been one of the most heavily discussed players in college football. In addition to the constant discourse regarding whether or not he should be playing, Manning also inked some major NIL deals despite only having two starts under his belt.

His first NIL deal came in July of 2023 with Panini America, which saw them auction off a one-of-a-kind Manning card for over $100,000. That deal, along with his partnership with EA Sports College Football 25, were the exceptions, as he and his camp assured the media he wouldn't take any NIL deals until he was the starter at Texas.

Now that he has been named the starter, Manning has inked deals with brands like Uber, Red Bull and Vuori. However, a recent expansion of his partnership with Panini America has seen his NIL Valuation rise even more.

Prior to his partnership with Panini America, Manning already held On3's No. 1 spot in NIL Valuations. However, after the release revealed he will be launching a memorabilia collection, Manning's lead over the rest of college athletics has only grown.

According to On3, his valuation now sits at $6.6 million, which is up $100,000 from his previous valuation of around $6.5 million. For reference, Duke star and projected No. 1 pick in the NBA draft, Cooper Flagg, is the next closest player in terms of NIL Valuation. His valuation is reportedly $4.8 million after what is expected to be his lone college basketball season.

So, for Manning's value to be that much higher than the next face of the NBA, clearly there's an expectation that he will be the next megastar in sports.

In 2024, Manning threw for 939 yards and nine touchdowns, while rushing for 108 yards and four touchdowns. He and Texas will open 2025 at Ohio State in a rematch of their College Football Playoff Semifinal at the Cotton Bowl.
