Arch Manning’s roommate at Texas is not only transferring to a different school, but he is picking the one Longhorns fans would probably respect the least.
Parker Livingstone, a freshman wide receiver, has committed to Oklahoma, he announced on Tuesday.

Livingstone will have three years of eligibility remaining. He caught 29 passes for 516 yards and six touchdowns last season as a redshirt freshman. The decision to transfer was likely financially motivated, and Livingstone had previously written on social media that leaving Texas was “out of my control.”
The decision to jump from Texas to Oklahoma will certainly go down poorly in Austin. The two schools are major rivals, and Manning even went out of his way to taunt the Sooner faithful when the Longhorns defeated them this season. To Texas fans, this will be viewed as a betrayal of the highest order.
This move arguably will sting even more considering Manning took a pay cut from Texas in order to allow the program to build a stronger roster for 2026. Apparently, none of the money Manning gave up was going to go to his roommate, and the two will be on opposite sides when the teams meet next year.
