Coming out of Ladue Horton Watkins in the Class of 2026, Marden is listed as a three-star prospect by the On3 index and the nation’s 1151st-ranked prospect. He also checks in as the 99th-ranked player at his position and the 12th-ranked player in the state of Missouri.
“The main thing that made me choose the Sun Devils was that since January, this relationship with coach Cooper really showed me that family aspect of the relationship of football,” Marden said. “He’s shown me how they treat you like family, treat you like one of their own and that really stuck out to me. My visits showed the overall culture and the people really made me feel at home. It’s people that you can bond with and get close to outside of football.
During his junior season in 2024, Madsen recorded 170 total tackles, 20 of which went for loss, three sacks, two interceptions, and four forced fumbles. On offense, he also carried the ball 15 times for 294 yards and four touchdowns.
With his commitment, he became Arizona State’s 14th commitment to the Class of 2026. Their group now checks in as the nation’s 13th-best group and No. 2 in the Big 12.
