Cam Skattebo is leaving it all out on the field during the Peach Bowl.

Arizona State's star running back is having an eventual New Year's Day. He pushed a teammate after failing to convert a fourth down and shouted on the sideline during the second quarter.

Later in the game, ESPN's broadcast discussed another uncomfortable moment. Sideline reporter Taylor McGregor said Skattebo was "vomiting profusely."

While ESPN luckily didn't air the moment in question, they showed a dazed Skattebo trying to catch his breath. McGregor said he requested fluids.

Skattebo has carried ASU's offense with 2,074 scrimmage yards and 22 touchdowns entering Wednesday's CFP quarterfinal matchup. He tallied 208 yards and three touchdowns in a Big 12 Championship Game victory over Iowa State last month.

"They continue to keep saying that people are going to try to stop me," Skattebo said earlier this week, per ESPN's Andrea Adelson. "There's nobody out there that can stop me. We played in 13 games, and I've been the target on each one, so I'm not too worried. We're going to play our game and play ball and see what happens there."

Apparently some vomit can't stop him either.

Shortly before he threw up, Skattebo trucked a Texas defender en route to a 33-yard run, his longest of the day. That drive ended in a field goal, narrowing the deficit to 24-8.

The Sun Devils have since made things interesting. Skattebo was feeling better enough to throw a 42-yard touchdown to Malik McClain on the ensuing possession. Arizona State lessened the gap to eight with a successful two-point conversion.

Skattebo then found the end zone on a two-yard touchdown run with five minutes remaining and tied the game with a two-point make.

Texas fans may feel nauseated after watching a 17-3 halftime lead evaporate. Everyone can watch the end of a suddenly thrilling game on ESPN.
