Arquon Bush, Ryan Montgomery Meet With Media Ahead of Navy Matchup
USA TODAY Sports

UC cornerback Arquon Bush and running back Ryan Montgomery met with the media on Tuesday.

They discussed everything from the inconsistencies against UCF to being back at home for three of the last four games.

Check out the best answers below.

Arquon Bush

On The Pressure of Maintaining The Home Win Streak:

“It is just being us. Since I have been here at Cincinnati with the streak going on, we haven’t really focused on it. We went out there and played our game, even though we lost the conference streak last week, we have to continue to move forward. We have won a lot of games in Nippert and we are trying to keep that going.”

On Facing Triple Option Offenses Like Navy's:

“It is definitely a challenge that you got to embrace. So, as a defense, we have to play together against these teams, using our techniques and do what we have to do [to win the game].”

Ryan Montgomery

On Where His Health Sits At This Point Of the Year:

"Being week eight or nine I wouldn’t say I’m 100%. I took a lot of reps at practice off, and I was missing time. But I feel good, and I feel like I’m getting back [to 100%]. I may have gotten a bit out of shape, but I feel pretty good."

On What He Saw During The 39-Yard Go-Ahead Score:

"We had trouble running the ball all night. It was third and short, and we had gotten into a rhythm throwing the ball, so I think it was just a really good play call. Josh Whyle made a good block and Joe Huber caved the whole offensive line down, it parted like the Red Sea, and I had one guy to beat. It was a really good call and great blocking up front."
