The Auburn Tigers have had four-star EDGE Hezekiah Harris in the boat since July 2024, but that could change in the coming days.
The Florida Gators and Tennessee Titans have been trying to flip him for over a year, and according to Rivals' Hayes Fawcett, Harris will make his final decision on September 1.
Harris is one of the top recruits in the 2026 class, and the Tigers want to ensure that he doesn't leave for two SEC rivals. He is the seventh-best recruit in his home state (Alabama), and the No. 13 EDGE recruit in the nation, per 247Sports composite rankings.
He is also the No. 100 overall recruit, regardless of position.
Harris is the third-highest recruit in the Tigers' 2026 class, which is ranked No. 35 in the country, per 247Sports.
Head coach Hugh Freeze and his staff did a great job of getting him to commit last July and will hope that he remains committed to the program when he makes his final decision in the coming days.
In the meantime, Freeze and the Tigers are getting set for their season opener on Friday, August 29, against the Big 12's Baylor Bears. It should be a fun game, and it will start at 8 p.m. ET on FOX.
