2026 Three-star wide receiver Jonah Wilson has officially locked in two visits holding significant ties to his older brother Jamies Winston, the youngest Heisman winner in college football history and 2015 No. 1 overall pick to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Jonah Wilson announced that he would be visiting Auburn and Florida State. This is not the first time these two schools and the name Winston have crossed paths. In the 2014 BCS national championship game, Jamies Winston led a game-winning drive with Florida State to defeat the Auburn Tigers 34-31, bringing the Seminoles their third national title and their first in nearly fifteen years.
Nearly a decade later, the 5-foot-10, 153-pound receiver for the Hoover Buccaneers from Hoover, Alabama, is pitting the programs against each other again, this time on the recruiting front.
Jonah Wilson, per On3, is ranked as the 62nd-best wide receiver in the country and 18th best prospect in the state of Alabama.
Head coach Hugh Freeze wants to continue building his 2026 recruiting class, which currently ranks fourth in the nation.
The Tigers look to add their third wide receiver, Jonah Wilson, and pair him with four stars, Devin Carter and Denairius Gray.
