Fox Sports has released its list of the Top 10 quarterbacks entering the 2025 college football season, and two names represent the Big 12, with Josh Hoover (TCU) and Sam Leavitt (Arizona State).

Hoover, coming off a breakout sophomore campaign in Fort Worth, landed at No. 10 on the list. The 6-foot-1, 207-pound signal caller threw for 3,929 yards and 27 touchdowns last season, including a QBR of 73.9 (28th best in the country).

As TCU looks to build off a 9-4 finish in 2024, Hoover’s development could be the difference in the Horned Frogs’ push for a Big 12 title.

Meanwhile, Leavitt checked in at No. 9, earning national praise after leading the Sun Devils to the Big 12 title season.

In the program’s first campaign competing in the conference, ASU made it to the College Football Playoff as the No. 4 overall seed.

Leavitt’s dual-threat abilities make it difficult for opposing defenses to contain him. The 6-foot-2 quarterback threw for 2,885 yards and 24 touchdowns while adding 443 rushing yards and five scores on the ground last season.

The Big 12 consists of the highest-rated quarterbacks in the nation, including Avery Johnson (Kansas State) and Sawyer Robertson (Baylor).

Hoover and Leavitt’s recognition from Fox Sports signals the league’s continued rise in QB talent and depth. With both players returning as key parts of the offense, they will be in the race for Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year.

Cade Klubnik (Clemson), Arch Manning (Texas), Garrett Nussmeier (LSU), John Mateer (Oklaoma), Lanorris Sellers (South Carolina), Drew Allar (Penn State), Carson Beck (Miami), and DJ Lagway (Florida) close out the list.
