Brett McMurphy of On3 released updated Heisman Trophy odds via Circa Sportsbook, and six Big 12 quarterbacks were included in the mix.

Arizona State’s Sam Leavitt leads the group with 35-to-1 odds, making him the top Heisman contender from the conference. Leavitt is coming off a breakout season and will enter 2025 with both national attention and playoff expectations.

Kansas State’s Avery Johnson and Utah’s Devon Dampier follow closely at 50 to 1. Both quarterbacks have generated significant buzz this offseason and will look to elevate their teams into the Big 12 title conversation. Johnson’s dual-threat abilities and Dampier’s rising stock make them two of the most intriguing playmakers in the league.

Colorado’s Kaidon Salter lands at 60 to 1, while Baylor’s Sawyer Robertson is listed at 70 to 1. Kansas quarterback Jalon Daniels checks in at 100 to 1, a longshot given recent injuries, but still a name to watch if he can return to form. The variety of odds shows both the top-end talent and the competitive depth at quarterback across the Big 12.

These odds reflect early projections and do not guarantee outcomes, but they serve as a strong indicator of which players are gaining national momentum. Leavitt’s top billing confirms Arizona State’s rising profile, while the inclusion of five other quarterbacks speaks to the overall strength of the league at the most important position.

With the 2025 season approaching, each of these names will have the opportunity to shift the narrative and climb the odds board. The Big 12 is clearly in the Heisman conversation, and now it’s a matter of who will take control of it on the field.
