It seems congratulations may be in order for former New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick

The New York Times reports that Hudson has “told at least one person that she and Mr. Belichick are engaged to be married.”

The couple have been all over the news lately, which began due to a controversial CBS Sunday Morning Interview. CBS's Tony Dokoupil asked Belichick how he and Hudson met during the interview. Hudson then walked straight into the interview and put an end to that line of questioning.

“We’re not talking about this,” she said.

There have been multiple reports since this, all with different claims regarding Hudson's involvement in Belichick's professional and personal affairs.

And with that, the New York Times also shined a light on what happened between the University of North Carolina and NFL Films after it was reported that Belichick's first offseason as a college coach would be documented on Hard Knocks.

"But days before they were set to announce the series, Ms. Hudson demanded she be granted content approval and partial ownership of the show, according to a person familiar with the deal who spoke on the condition of anonymity because they were not authorized by producers to speak to a reporter," the outlet wrote.

As a result, NFL Films decided to cancel the project.

"The producers later learned that Ms. Hudson was also in negotiations with another production company, EverWonder, to make a similar series, according to the person familiar with the situation," The New York Times added.

This saga surrounding the 73-year-old coach and his 24-year-old girlfriend just continues to take turns.
