Of course, there's no doubt that Bill Belichick has a proven track record as a head coach, winning six Super Bowls with the New England Patriots in his 24 years with the organization.

However, there were some major question marks about how he would adjust to college football once he took the job for the North Carolina Tar Heels, considering the significant differences between the two levels.

One of the biggest being the transfer portal, which Belichick has utilized at a very efficient level, as the Tar Heels have received 26 commitments from players through the portal, per On3.

North Carolina's latest addition came on Monday in the form of running back Benjamin Hall, who has spent the previous two seasons with the Michigan Wolverines.

In his time with the Wolverines, Hall's production has been extremely limited, appearing in just 11 games, rushing the ball 44 times for 141 yards and zero touchdowns.

However, there's no doubt he has potential, because coming out of high school, On3 industry rankings placed him as a three-star prospect, the No. 70 running back and the No. 1,023 player in the nation.

There were also several high-level programs trying to land Hall's commitment out of high school, as he also received offers from South Carolina, Wisconsin, Miami and Minnesota.

Hall joins a growing list of offensive threats Belichick has landed through the portal, joining three-star quarterback Gio Lopez (South Alabama), three-star wide receiver Adrian Wilson (Colorado) and three-star tight end Connor Cox (South Carolina).

It will now remain to be seen if Hall and these other additions can help improve North Carolina's offense, which in 2024 was tied for 44th in points per game (30.9) and 48th in total yards per game (406.7).
