Boston College WR Zay Flowers transforms himself for NFL Combine

NFL prospects are known to improve their physiques before the NFL Scouting Combine. Boston College WR Zay Flowers evidently embraced that process.

In the offseason, Flowers bulked up for the combine, which starts Tuesday in Indianapolis.

With his performance in the East-West Shrine Bowl, Flowers has already sparked discussions about being a top-15 selection.

Flowers had an excellent senior season at BC, catching 78 passes for 1,077 yards and 12 TDs. He is widely considered a first- or second-round prospect.

Flowers said he can run an 40-yard dash in the low 4.3s. He can back up that claim at the combine and perhaps jump ahead of better-known WR prospects Jaxon Smith-Njigba of Ohio State and Jordan Addison of USC.
