TreVeyon Henderson announced on Twitter that he will return to Ohio State for his senior season:

“I’M BACK.

I am nothing without my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I used to be lost until Jesus came into my life and saved me. He always comes to my rescue just like He did in this decision. If it wasn’t for God, I wouldn’t be making this decision to come back for my senior year. But God led me back for a great purpose, to do something much bigger than me. I trust what God is doing in my life, I trust where He is leading me! This is what God is calling me to do, and wherever the Lord leads me, by FAITH I will follow.”

Here’s what went down in his first three seasons in Columbus.

His freshman season:

TreVeyon Henderson committed to Ohio State as a five-star recruit for the 2021 season. Henderson appeared in every game during his freshman season. He had 1,248 yards on 183 carries and 15 rushing touchdowns. He also had 27 receptions for 312 yards and four receiving touchdowns.

His sophomore season:

Henderson appeared in 8 games during his sophomore season. He had 571 yards on 107 carries and six rushing touchdowns. He also had four receptions for 28 yards and one receiving touchdown. He missed five games due to a broken bone in his foot.

His junior season:

Henderson appeared in 10 games during his junior season. He had 926 yards on 156 carries and 11 rushing touchdowns. He also had 19 receptions for 229 yards. He missed three games due to an undisclosed injury.

Other offensive players that decided to return:

Other notable offensive players who decided to return to Ohio State include wide receiver Emeka Egbuka, left guard Donovan Jackson, and right tackle Josh Fryar.
