For the second time in just over a week, Chubba Purdy has committed to a new school.
Purdy, a junior quarterback and the brother of San Francisco 49ers star Brock Purdy, announced earlier this month that he had entered the transfer portal after two seasons at Nebraska. He initially committed to San Jose State, but that was before former Spartans head coach Brent Brennan took the Arizona job.
Now, Purdy has switched his commitment to Nevada.

Purdy began his college career at Florida State. He then transferred to Nebraska ahead of the 2022 season. He played in six games this past season and started the final two for the Cornhuskers.
Purdy completed 57.7% of his passes for 358 yards, 2 touchdowns and 2 interceptions in the two games, which were losses to Wisconsin and Iowa. The former 4-star recruit out of Arizona also rushed for 147 yards and a touchdown in his two starts.
