Oregon Ducks safety Bryan Addison has entered the transfer portal, according to a report from 247Sports' Matt Zenitz and Chris Hummer.
Addison had been away from the team since October due to "personal matters," according to head coach Dan Lanning.
The 6-foot-5, 198-pound defensive back played in four games this season and hadn't appeared in a game since Oregon played Colorado on September 23. He's the second Oregon player to enter the transfer portal, joining true freshman wide receiver Ashton Cozart.
Since Addison has been away from the team, the Ducks turned to a trio of veterans in the defensive secondary in Steve Stephens IV , Tysheem Johnson and Evan Williams.
Addison enrolled at Oregon in 2018 after initially signing with the UCLA Bruins
He was rated four-star (0.9552) recruit according to the 247Sports Composite and attended Gardena (Calif.) Serra High School according to the 247Sports Composite.
The veteran defensive back was ranked the No. 98 player nationally, the No. 3 athlete and the No. 11 recruit in the state of California.
