Ohio State Buckeyes wideout and No. 1 prospect for the 2024 cycle Jeremiah Smith has a new NIL deal, and it's one that will offer him an expensive set of wheels for the foreseeable future.

Local Columbus car dealership Ricart Automotive announced on social media it has inked a deal with Smith and Buckeyes edge rusher Jack Sawyer. The two players received keys to new cars in exchange for event appearances and social media posts that included the dealership.

"A couple members of our NIL team got new rides this week! I'm thrilled to welcome back @jacksawyer33 for his 3rd year with us, cruising in style in a beautiful red Rabid Customs Ford F-150!

"And very excited to bring in @Jermiah_Smith1! Looking forward to seeing your exceptional skills this upcoming year! Enjoy that Dodge Durango 392!

"Huge thanks to @OhioState and @OhioStateFB for making these partnerships possible!

"Congrats, Jack and Jeremiah! Looking forward to working with you in our community and cheering you on this fall! Go Bucks! #RicartPartnership #OSU #NIL #FootballStars #CommunitySupport #Ricart #GoBucks"

Smith, at 6-3, 205 pounds, was the nation's top-overall rated prospect per On3 Industry Rankings and drew comparisons to former Arizona Cardinals standout receiver Larry Fitzgerald.

Smith holds a tremendous NIL value with over 149,000 social media followers including 139,000 on Instagram. He's an attractive brand for the Columbus market that includes Buckeyes fans.

“He’s jumped right in and you guys see the talent, the talent is there,” Ohio State coach Ryan Day recently said. “I think the thing that’s been the most impressive to me so far is the discipline he’s already built in his life and then the skill of playing the position at such a young age as well.”
