Wide receiver Carnell Tate is viewed as one of the top prospects in the upcoming 2026 NFL Draft. ESPN draft analyst Mel Kiper Jr. lists the Ohio State product as the No. 8 player and the No. 2 wide receiver in his rankings.

Tate's high expectations come after an impressive career with the Buckeyes. Coming out of high school in the 2023 recruiting class, he was a five-star prospect and the No. 22 player in the nation, per 247Sports.

During his three years in Columbus, he made a considerable impact. He appeared in 39 games, racking up 1,872 yards and 14 touchdowns. He helped the Buckeyes win their ninth national championship in program history during the 2024 season.

While finding success on the field, Tate's popularity continues to grow. In the age of Name, Image and Likeness, he capitalized. The 21-year-old has revealed partnerships with companies such as Snickers, Adidas and Crocs.

His personal brand continues to grow while preparing for the NFL. On Wednesday, just one day before the draft begins, Tate announced a new partnership with Buffalo Wild Wings and Pepsi.

"I don’t know where I’m getting picked, but I’m getting a Pick 6 Meal For Two from $19.99 at Buffalo Wild Wings @bwwings @pepsi #bwwpartner #draft," he wrote via a joint Instagram post.

With this latest deal revealed, the wide receiver only adds to his personal brand before even stepping onto an NFL field. Of course, the big question now surrounding his future is which team will land the former Buckeye.

While the draft can be unpredictable, Tate isn't expected to be available for very long. FanDuel Sportsbook gives him -650 odds to be a top-10 pick. That will remain to be seen with the debate beginning on Thursday at 8 p.m. ET.
