CFB world reacts to Harold Perkins' remarkable performance

Saturday's LSU-Arkansas game will forever be known as "The Harold Perkins Game."

LSU (8-2, 6-1 in SEC) followed a huge win over Alabama with a gritty victory over division foe Arkansas (5-5, 2-4 in SEC). The Tigers are ranked seventh in the College Football Playoff and secured a spot in the SEC Championship Game after No. 9 Alabama (8-2, 5-2 in SEC) defeated No. 11 Ole Miss (8-2, 4-2 in SEC), 30-24.

Perkins Jr. is a huge reason why LSU clinched the SEC West on Saturday. It's rare that a freshman is so intrinsic to a team's success, but that's exactly what he's become.

His performance was made even more impressive when head coach Brian Kelly announced after the game that Perkins Jr. was sick with the flu and vomited before the game.

The future is bright in Baton Rouge, and because of Perkins Jr., that light is shining on the team's present.
