CFP national championship odds: If not the Bulldogs, then who?

You know what it means now that Thanksgiving is roughly a week away: The college football season is wrapping up and playoffs are not that far away. But do you have your pick lined up for who will win it all?

The Georgia Bulldogs continue to be the favorite in the rankings as they are 10-0 on the season entering Week 12. They demolished No. 9 Ole Miss 52-17 at Sanford Stadium last week and are expected to secure a road win against No. 20 Tennessee in their next outing.

Even with that sparkling record, however, the Bulldogs are no longer the favorite at DraftKings to win the CFP national championship game in January.

Here's a look at who is — and who could be challenging to be the favorite after Week 12.

Don't be mistaken, Georgia is still heavily favored to win the CFB national championship at a +255 payout (roughly 51/20 odds) which means you could win $255 on a $100 bet if the Bulldogs win.

However, No. 2 Michigan has emerged as the favorite at DK to win it all at +215.

Despite the continued off-field shenanigans, J.J. McCarthy and the Wolverines have stayed undefeated on the season and are also coming off of a win against a top-10 team, taking down No. 10 Penn State on the road 24-15 on Saturday. They will hit the road yet again in Week 12 to take on the Maryland Terrapins and try to keep their CFB national championship dreams alive in a season peppered with turmoil.

Michigan isn't the only school competing with Georgia for favoritism with oddsmakers. No. 7 Alabama started off the season at +600 odds to win the championship — according to USA Today — and fell back after a rough start to the season but has clinched the SEC West and have shortened odds to make it back to the CFB national championship at +650.

The eighth-ranked Oregon Ducks are also very much in the mix thanks to Bo Nix — the new Heisman favorite at DK, by the way — and an explosive offense. Nix threw for 412 yards in Week 11 and looks to get to the CFP championship with the Ducks, who are listed at +800 (8-1).

Before you make a decision on who your pick is to win the CFP championship, you can't forget about Ohio State. The Buckeyes have made their way up the standings and could be the Bulldogs' biggest adversary when it comes to winning another CFP title. Second-ranked Ohio is listed at +800 odds, and with a home game against the non-ranked Minnesota Gophers in Week 12 they have the opportunity to get another win and better their CFP championship odds.

The CFP national championship game will take place at NRG Stadium in Houston on Jan. 8.
