Tennessee's Chris Brazzell II is one of the more intriguing wide receiver prospects in the 2026 NFL Draft, with a rare combination of size and speed that's sure to have offensive coaches across the league excited about his potential. Those physical traits and upside could be enough to make him a top-50 selection, even with a strong class at the position.

Here's everything NFL fans need to know about Brazzell heading into this year's draft:

Chris Brazzell II's Vitals

Height: 6-5

Weight: 200

Age: 22

Chris Brazzell II's Strengths

Huge and athletic, Brazzell’s towering frame presents an obvious challenge for defensive backs, none of whom can match the size and length he brings to the table. He’s a long strider who can eat up a ton of yardage in just a few steps, and he can surprise DBs and stack them quicker than they expect from such a big target. He uses his wingspan to reel in the ball away from his body, making him a dangerous weapon in 50/50 situations and in the red zone. He shows impressive hip fluidity and route-running prowess for such a tall receiver, with smooth transitions in and out of his breaks that can create separation. Brazzell shows impressive deep-ball tracking ability when he gets behind the defense, giving his quarterback a valuable downfield target.

Chris Brazzell II's Weaknesses

Height is a valuable trait, but Brazzell’s frame is still fairly lean, even though he’s listed at 200 pounds. As a result, he’s not as physical as you might expect from a 6-5 receiver, and the NFL’s tougher corners will challenge his ability to play through contact and still maximize his height and length. He still needs some refinement as a route-runner on more complex patterns, and Brazzell can suffer some concentration drops that can be frustrating.

Final Analysis

The upside is obvious here, as Brazzell’s physical tools would bring unique value to any NFL receiver room. There’s also a ton of room for improvement, as some added bulk could improve his physicality, and sharpening his concentration at the catch point and the intricacy of his routes would be a welcome addition to his skill set. He’s got a solid floor as a red-zone and deep-ball merchant, but there’s a limitless ceiling if those improvements are made.
