Clemson Adds Veteran Offensive Coach to Analyst Staff

With a career that spans over two decades, Galloway has a wealth of experience coaching both quarterbacks and wide receivers. Prior to his time at UNC, he served as co-offensive coordinator and wide receivers coach at Louisville from 2016-2018. His coaching journey has taken him through various programs, including Elon, East Carolina, Appalachian State, West Virginia, and Wake Forest. Galloway’s extensive background in developing quarterbacks and wide receivers at several programs gives him a unique perspective that will be invaluable to Clemson’s offense moving forward.

A 1994 graduate of Western Carolina, Galloway was an accomplished player, throwing for 5,545 yards and 30 touchdowns during his college career. He earned first-team All-Southern Conference honors in 1993, leading the league in total offense with 231.9 yards per game. Galloway's stellar play as a quarterback earned him induction into the Western Carolina Hall of Fame in 2015, solidifying his place in the school's football history.

Galloway’s coaching career began in 1996 at Elon, where he served as quarterbacks and wide receivers coach through 2002. His ability to develop talent was evident early on, as he coached standout players like Aretka Banks, a two-time All-Conference selection. Galloway’s coaching journey continued at East Carolina, Appalachian State, West Virginia, and Wake Forest, where he refined his skills and gained invaluable experience along the way.

Now, as he takes on his new role at Clemson, Galloway brings with him a reputation for developing dynamic offenses and a deep understanding of the ACC. His experience coaching at multiple levels and his ability to build explosive offenses will undoubtedly benefit the Tigers’ offense in the coming seasons.

Off the field, Galloway resides in Eden, N.C., with his wife Winslow and their three children: Anna, Hayes, and Griffith. With his wealth of experience and passion for the game, Galloway is poised to make an immediate impact as he begins his next chapter with Clemson football.
