Dabo Swinney and the Clemson Tigers have picked up a commitment from one of the best 2027 wide receivers in the country.
That would be Jamarin Simmons from Tallahassee, Florida.
Simmons committed to the Tigers on Wednesday.
He committed to Clemson over an offer list that features nearly 30 teams and some of the biggest blue-chip college football programs in the nation.
The Tigers' main competition for this commitment were the Florida Gators, Auburn Tigers and Nebraska Cornhuskers. The Florida State Seminoles and Tennessee Volunteers were also in the running.
Past visits to Clemson sealed the deal for Swinney and his staff by the time all was said and done.
“I’ve been to Clemson four times, and it feels like home when I’m there,” Simmons had told Chad Simmons of Rivals in February. “The culture is right. It’s a great place, and the people make me comfortable. I love Coach Swinney, too.”

This will go down as a huge commitment for Clemson.
According to 247Sports, Simmons is ranked as the No. 10 wideout prospect in the country.
As a junior at Amos P. Godby High School, he caught 59 passes for 932 yards and 14 touchdowns.
He's an elite wideout recruit, without a doubt, and he ultimately feels that he picked an elite football program in Clemson.
“The consistency of the culture that has been established at Clemson is what separates Clemson. I started this recruiting process with a private, non-negotiable list,” Walker said. “This choice supports my non-negotiables list.”
